Maybe I watched too much Dakar, but I developed a strong desire to have the phone / navigation device mounted above the dash. I could not find a commercial solution to solve the issue so I decided to design my own. You are seeing the 1.0 version, which has not been refined to it’s final…

Recommended mods for Honda CRF 300 L
I did a similar thing with the 250 Rally and I thought it was time to it for the 300 L. Again, this is all my personal opinion based on my riding style, my budget, my skill level and local riding conditions* * The biggest factor is probably the riding conditions. We have lot’s of…
Removing bar end inserts on a Honda CRF 300 L
I’ve had my handguards mounted with M6 bolts on the barend inserts, but I decided to remove them just to see how hard it was. Turns out, not hard at all and removing them is probably less of a hassle than drilling and tapping them for M8 threads. How to: 1. Drill a hole roughly…

This means that you CAN NOT insert the standard expanding mounting hardware inside the bars. Adjusting throttle free play on Honda CRF 300 L
There was a significant amount of slack on the throttle cable from the factory. This is not helping as the throttle response is snatchy as it is. IMO a little less play gives you better control of the throttle. *** KEEP IN MIND THAT I’M NOT A CERTIFIED MECHANIC. DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO…
