DIY prefilter, part II

Version 1.2 has 400% bigger filtering area compared to 1.0. It seems to be refined enough to actually use as it now fits under the seat without interfering woth the seat mounting hook. Compared to the 1.1 the shape is a bit different due to the above menetioned clerance issues, but also dueo to maximixing the filtering area size.

The is still room to make the filter bigger, but I feel that it is not necessary. After all, we are dealing with a 300cc single cylinder engine.

The unit itself is glued together once printed. If I can find the time, I will make a version that can be dissassembled. The STL file can be found at the bottom of this post. Use as you please. If you are making money with it, I want a a cut…

It looks like the download link is incomplete or removed, I’d really like to try this out since I’m slightly worried about the stock filter being able to handle riding in dusty areas. Thanks and keep up the good work!

You didnt had the chance of constructing a version which can be dissasembled for exchanging the filter?

What kind of filter material did you use?

I really would like to use your version and enhance it by a biggger whole into the box:)
